I put the oil version on after my shower, using the directions someone had posted on this site (put it on your hands, rub your hands together, rub your hands over your skin), and wow. At first you get a lot of citrus which also lingers, but after half an hour the smell becomes a bit rounder with vanilla and sugar. Al Rehab Soft is a enchanting blend of fruity, citrus, and caramel notes that create a unique olfactory experience.

I can certainly smell the similarities of this to Pink Sugar, but this one omits the burnt sugar smell in place of lemon. I blind bought this based on the gourmand notes and reviews, happily after my huge disappointment of pink sugar and golden sand by al rehab, I can say that Soft is MUCH better, citrusy, cakey scent. These Arabian Oud fragrances will be perfect for every occasion- birthdays, anniversaries and for her.You won’t get niche snootiness with this little gem, but if your skin likes it it is absolute lemon cake heaven.

When I compare it to Pink Sugar, the openings are similar, but the dry downs are nowhere near close to each other. I agree with Virgowithleo in the comment below me👇🏼lovely fragrance but would be even better if the lemon was towned down a notch. I don’t get a lot of the woody or vetiver notes, which I think would make it a really interesting scent if those notes were just a bit stronger.

The opening is still not my favorite, but now it's softer, and I understand where the "lemon pound cake" comparisons are coming from.
