EDIT: I let the sun bake it a bit more and then I took some of my Ceramic Gray Elegoo resin and put a coat of it on top of the filler, worked like a dream and work can finally resume!

I’ve also tried a plastic wood for burns in the past……prestain a blob of it, fill the burn and touch up the spot little by little with a Q tip dipped in your stain. I usually use the 2 oz tubs, and it takes me a long time to go through it, so when I eventually crack open the 32 oz one, I'll portion it out and make sure I keep it sealed/moist. Elmer’s wood putty is a wonderful product, I only bought this because it cleans up with water and not chemicals. All tips on the process will be much appreciated – is there a product you recommend for such deep marks?
